Climate Action Mixer at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston

Thank you to everyone who joined our Climate Action Mixer at the Hutton Brickyards on September 14th! It was an inspiring evening of networking with an impressive 175 passionate climate activists who came together along the banks of the Hudson River to help us kick off Hudson Valley Climate Solutions Week.

The large turnout reflects the strength and vitality of our local community. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to the climate movement and for embracing opportunities to connect, collaborate, and drive meaningful change together.

The event began with a Weaving the Waterfront walk from Hutton Brickyards led by Kingston’s Sustainability Coordinator, Julie Noble.

Thank you to Kingston Mayor Steve Noble and Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger for offering remarks on the importance of local climate action.

Kingston Mayor Steve Noble highlights the need to act on the climate crisis.

County Executive Jen Metzger celebrates Ulster County’s recent sustainability initiatives, such as strengthening the Green Fleet Policy and enacting Executive Order 01-2023.

Thank you to our friends Tavit Geudelekian from SunCommon and Ed Morris from Toolshed for volunteering during the event!

We are so grateful to SunCommon for financially sponsoring the evening, and a warm thank you to all of our cosponsors!

We hope to see you at our next mixer!
