PCA Funds Ecological Restoration at Kite’s Nest

Ecological Restoration Grant Community Event

On May 31st, the local community teamed up to support ecological restoration on Kite’s Nest urban waterfront campus. Volunteers learned about compost care, helped with the “lasagna layering” method for soil building, and cleaned up the site.

Kite’s Nest is one of PCA’s Ecological Restoration Grant recipients. Read more about their initiatives focused on sustainability and youth leadership here.
